Website terms of use.

The rules for using www.robsoninc.com, in plain language. Last updated 3 October 2026.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of www.robsoninc.com (the "site"), operated by Robson Inc. ("Robson", "we", "us"), Unit 200, 100 Park Royal West, Vancouver, BC V7T 1A2, Canada. By using the site, you agree to them.

They cover the website only. Our infrastructure and data protection services are governed by the agreement you sign with us. Emily accounts are governed by the terms on the Emily website.

2. Using the site

You may use the site for lawful purposes, to learn about Robson and Emily and to contact us. You agree not to:

  • break any law, or use the site to harm, mislead or harass anyone;
  • try to gain unauthorized access to the site, our servers or any connected system, or probe, scan or test their security without our written permission;
  • interfere with the site, overload it, or send automated or bulk submissions through the contact form;
  • copy or scrape the site in bulk, or use it to build a competing service.

3. Information on the site

We work to keep the site accurate, but it is general information, not an offer, a contract or professional advice. Details of any service are set out in a written proposal or agreement.

  • Planned pricing. Prices shown as "planned" or "coming soon", including Emily plan prices, are a preview. They are not available to purchase and may change before billing launches.
  • Illustrative examples. Examples marked "illustrative", including example engagements and interface designs with fictional brands, show what is possible. They do not describe specific clients or products.
  • Availability. Features marked "coming soon" are not yet available, and timing is not guaranteed.

4. Enquiries you send us

When you contact us through the site, we store your enquiry on Robson's own servers and email it to our team, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Please do not send classified, protected or other sensitive information through the contact form. If an enquiry involves sensitive material, we will agree a suitable channel with you first.

5. Developer material

The API reference and SDK information on the site are documentation, provided to help you build on Emily. Access to the Emily API requires an approved account, and connecting a custom interface requires Robson's agreement on your hosting location and API origin. The EmilyRemote SDK is distributed through npm under its own licence.

You must not use the documentation to attempt access beyond what your approved connection allows.

6. Content and trademarks

The site and its content, including text, designs, diagrams, animations and code, belong to Robson or its licensors. You may view, print and share pages for your own reference, with attribution, but may not reuse them commercially without our written permission.

Robson, the robson. logo and Emily are Robson's names and marks. Partner and AI-provider names and logos belong to their owners and appear to identify the services we work with; their use does not imply endorsement of Robson.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about it, and we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
