Federal and provincial government

Canadian infrastructure you can explain to anyone who asks.

For federal and provincial teams: your program's data stored and processed in Canadian data centres, a written account of where it goes, and a certified Indigenous supplier that can help you meet procurement targets.

What public sector teams are asked to answer

"Where does the data go?"

A written account of where data is stored, processed and administered, and which partners are involved, so you can answer it in a briefing note.

"Who is accountable?"

One provider responsible for operating the service, with named contacts for delivery, support and escalation.

"Will services stay up during the move?"

A migration plan in stages that keeps public services running, with recovery objectives agreed before cutover.

"How do we buy it?"

A route that fits your process, and a certified Indigenous supplier that can count toward your department's Indigenous procurement target.

Data flow

Where your program's data goes.

Your program's systems run in Robson's Canadian data centres. We document each part of the flow in writing, so your team can answer data-handling questions with confidence.

Bringing a program's data home to Canada

The situation
A provincial program's records sit with a foreign-owned cloud provider, and the program wants them under Canadian control.
What Robson does
Robson plans the move to its Canadian data centres, documents where data will be stored, processed and administered, and keeps the service running throughout.
What changes
The program can answer data-flow questions in writing, and as a certified Indigenous business, Robson can contribute to Indigenous procurement goals.
